Did you say "Dirty Shoe?"

Yes, I am now married to man who is.....( I can't even say it, so I will tell you it rhymes with dirty shoe. ) :)
We had a weekend full of celebrations. Friday night I surprised him with a couples massage at The Woodhouse Spa! Oh my..this place is GLORIOUS! (Thank you AP)
We then went to dinner and a movie. Saturday was a little crazy, but we ended the evening with a little chocolate fountain celebration and enjoyed a beautiful night with friends.

Sunday we had a great visit with some friends from Asheville, who stuck to their word,(unlike some others that I know), and ran the Nashville 1/2 marathon. Yes, I was a slacker and did not train. :( But Way to go Adam and Kris!

We then went to the Franklin Mainstreet Festival. HOW FUN! I didn't spend any money, but I still am in love with those cool little wooden toys that actually sound like the animal.
I am floating away from all the chocolate, cake, and ice cream from the weekend. Even Lila now relates the words, "Happy Birthday" with cake and ice cream. On Sunday when I told her to tell her daddy Happy Birthday all she kept saying was, "Cake and Ice ceam" while doing her little wiggle dance that she does. She THINKS it helps her get her way.

Happy Birthday Baby. I love you...even if you are 32!!

A Post of Pictures

We really did, I promise. We really did celebrate Easter around here this year.
I'll just let the pictures do the talkin'.

We dyed Easter Eggs....
Note: I have plenty of pictures, but none of the final product! :) My egg dying skills were lacking this year. Graham was there too, I promise. He was just asleep during most of it.

And we hunted and hunted Easter Eggs!

I couldn't believe how well Lila understood the concept of picking up the egg and putting it in the basket. She loved it! She even swiped several from her cousins baskets when they weren't looking. Luckily, she is at the age where it doesn't matter to her if there is anything in them or not.
I am feeling a little guilty that I don't have many pictures of Graham with any Easter eggs, baskets, etc. He wasn't quite sitting alone by himself yet and he isn't too fond of being on his belly. Basically, the boy just likes to be held. :)

Along with celebrating Easter, we have lots of April birthdays to celebrate in my family: My Husband, My Mom, My Dad, My Brother -in law (both of them if you count David's early May birthday), My father in law, both my grandmothers, 2 nieces, and 1 nephew. I also have several cousins in April, but I can't keep up with that.
Here is wishing Rileigh and my dad a Happy Birthday today!

We got to celebrate the big #3 for this little boy:

Ok, back to my post: Basically, once again, it was go, go, go in Morristown. We actually got to see every member of our immediate family, so that was nice to have everyone in. The kids had a great time! Lila didn't stop the whole time we were home. She also made me look as though I have absolutely no control of my children. :) Kids sure are good at that, aren't they? I think I actually caught a few members of my family secretly snickering. I just knew they were thinking... what goes around, comes around.

Lila thought it would be fun to bring all of her bunnies to her brother. He doesn't seem to mind.

Lila really enjoyed going through both hers AND Graham's Easter baskets.
I, of course, loved getting them all dolled up for Easter Sunday.
Here are some last pictures of my babies and our family to top off this lengthy post!

Even with all the hoopla, we still remember what this holiday is all about.
HE IS RISEN!

Just a glimspe...

I wish you all could see what I wake up to each morning. Every day is a
gift. Here is a glimpse of the little blessings we have been given.
