1. Everything is..."Right there." (Pronounced they-err.) I.E. "I see animal cookies...RIGHT THERE." This was after I told her they were all gone and she spotted her friend eating them.
2. She can sings her ABC's! Even the LMNOP part and the verses!
3. She counts to 11 minus number 8.
4. Every day she looks for "Daddy's truck." Also, every truck on the road is "Daddy's truck."
5. She likes to count the cars driving by. Usually it goes like this, "One, two cars. One, two, cars." Over and Over.
6. She use to say that she wanted her blankie, paci, milk, whatever it may be. It has now turned into "I NEED it." "I need blankie/paci/etc." I think this one is my fault because I take her paci out of her mouth often and say, "You don't need that paci." Well, she obviously thinks otherwise. Boy, am I in trouble!
7. I can no longer do anything for this child. Even if it is something she cannot do, such has put on her shoes, she still insists, "No no I do it!" I can't even read to her anymore. She likes for me to sit beside her and she will get me a book to read while she reads another. "No, No, it's mine" is also heard quite often at our house. That one drives me crazy!
8. We went to zoo for the 2nd time. She talked about "monkeys, 1-2 Elfants (that's how many we saw),and g-raffs" the rest of the day. She liked how the giraffes were eating and their "LOOONG Necks."
9. She likes to sing Twinkle Twinkle little star.
10. She LOVES skidamirinky dinky dink if you didn't catch the video I posted. She carries her baby around, which has to be facing outwards, and sings this song. The "I WUV YOU" part is not in tune, but it sure is cute.
11. All of the sudden she went from scooting down the steps on her bottom to just walking down them. This was one of those "She is such a big girl" moments.
12. Speaking of steps, she insists on walking up and down them herself to and from the car. This is actually a big help, except when I am running late, or it is cold, or she just takes off towards the backyard to go "pay outside."
13. When she talks now about multiple things, she says, "and a" instead of just "and." It is actually very cute.
14. She smacks her leg like calling for a dog and says, "Come on Daddy/Mommy/Chloe/Etc."
15. She also gets frustrated at other cars with me while driving. (This is not good, I know.) If I brake quickly, she will either say, "Woah!" or "Come on Cars!" Again, this an example of how kids pick up on everything we say.
16. In order to keep Lila from asking me to put on one of her songs, I will turn on the radio or a CD that I want to listen to and say…”Ooh, this is a good song!”
Well, one night, Lila turned on my Ipod and said, “Good Song!” So now each time a song comes on that is what she says.
16. Anytime we go anywhere now, Lila says, “This Way.” Whether it be walking around the house, pushing the stroller in the neighborhood, and she even knows the way we usually turn out of our neighborhood. The other day we went into Columbia, so we turned a way we don't go an a regular basis and she was very confused. She kept pointing to the right saying, "Go, this way."
17. When walking in our neighborhood we either go in the directions towards, "Leah's house" or to "Coben's House." She also calls our neighbor Miss Suzanne, "Miss Susie Anne."
18. She is getting better with her shapes. The other day she busted out with "Oval."
19. Some days I swear she knows her colors. Like today when doing laundry she pointed to her hamper and said, "It's pink" and then pointed to Graham's and said "It's blue." Other days, I am not convinced. Lately, everything has been "geen."
20. She has learned to get on our bed by herself. She also likes to jump off of it backwards. I, on the other hand don't like that too much, but she thinks it is funny and says, "Again!"
21. Every morning while eating breakfast she looks out the window and asks if I "hear it?" She is referring to the birds and to the "choo choo train."
22. After we do anything now, she looks at me and asks, "It's fun?" Now that she says this, I find that I ask her a lot while we are playing if she had fun.
Here is my little girl. She sure is sweet, but only when she wants to be!

Check out her new ride.

She has to make sure that everything is AOK.
